frame-format (10G WAN interface view)

Function

The frame-format command configures the frame format on a 10GE WAN interface.

The undo frame-format command restores the default setting.

By default, SDH is used.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

frame-format { sdh | sonet }

undo frame-format

Usage Scenario

SDH and SONET are different standards defined by different organizations, but their content and functions are similar. SDH and SONET are used in different areas and are allocated different default values by different vendors. Ensure that the configured frame format is the same as that on the transmission device.
