Usage Guidelines

The FTP session CAR function is enabled by default. It isolates packet channels between FTP Server sessions.

To disable this function on a device, run the whitelist session-car ftp-server disable command. FTP Server packets received by this device will be sent directly to the CPCAR channel. If the device receives a large number of FTP Server packets, packets from different FTP Server sessions may preempt bandwidth resources. Therefore, disabling this function is not usually recommended.

Example

# Disable FTP whitelist session CAR function.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] whitelist session-car ftp-server disable
Warning: When a device receives a large number of packets, the packets of different sessions may preempt the bandwidth of each other. You are advised not to disable this function.
