global-pool (Static mapping algorithm configuration view)

Function

The global-pool command creates a public network address pool for static source tracing algorithm and displays the public network address pool view.

The undo global-pool command deletes the created public network address pool.

By default, no public network address pool is created for static source tracing algorithm.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

global-pool global-pool-id

undo global-pool global-pool-id

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
global-pool-id

Specifies the ID of the public network address pool for static source tracing.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 2000.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The static source tracing algorithm parameters include the private network address pool, public network address pool, port range, and port size. A public network address pool can consist of multiple public network address segments. To create a public network address pool or enter the public network address pool view, run the global-pool command.

Follow-up Procedure

In the public network address pool view for static source tracing algorithm, run the section command to add public network address segments to the public network address pool for the static source tracing algorithm.

Precautions

If static source tracing algorithm parameters have been configured, a bound public network address pool cannot be deleted, or no address segments can be added to the public network address pool view.

Example

# Create a public network address pool 1 for a static source tracing algorithm and enter the public network address pool view.
