peer signaling vpws (BGP-L2VPN-AD address family view) (group)

Function

The peer signaling vpws command configures the VPWS signaling mode for a specified peer group.

The undo peer signaling vpws command restores the default signaling mode of a specified peer group.

By default, after the peer enable command is run in the L2VPN AD address family view, the BGP AD signaling mode is used.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In remote BGP VPWS connection scenarios, the VPWS signaling mode must be enabled in the L2VPN AD address family view for BGP peers to exchange VPWS routes. To configure the VPWS signaling mode for a specified peer group, run the peer signaling vpws command.

Prerequisites

A peer group has been enabled using the peer enable command.

Precautions

The signaling mode configured for a peer takes precedence over the signaling mode configured for the peer group to which the peer belongs. If no signaling mode is configured for a peer but a signaling mode is configured for the peer group to which the peer belongs, the peer uses the signaling mode configured for the peer group.

Example

# Configure the BGP VPWS signaling mode for a peer group in the L2VPN AD address family view.
