http-redirect-profile(Service policy view)

Function

The http-redirect-profile command binds an HTTP redirection profile to a service policy.

The undo http-redirect-profile command unbinds an HTTP redirection profile from a service policy.

By default, no HTTP redirection profile is bound to a service policy.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

http-redirect-profile profile-name

undo http-redirect-profile [ profile-name ]

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The captive portal function is supported only in a domain. After an HTTP redirection profile is bound to a service policy, the captive portal function based on EDSG services is enabled. When users visit HTTP web pages matching service traffic, they are redirected to a specified page.

Prerequisites

An EDSG service policy and HTTP redirection profile have been created in the system view.

Precautions

An HTTP redirection profile that has been bound to a service policy cannot be deleted.

The http-redirect-profile command is mutually exclusive with the service force redirect <redirect-profile-name> command.
