Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To set a period that an Eth-Trunk interface waits before changing its state to Down, run the link-state down-delay-time command in the Eth-Trunk interface view. The Eth-Trunk interface then changes its state to Down after the period elapses.

Precautions

After an Eth-Trunk interface is shut down using the shutdown command, the link-state down-delay-time command does not take effect for this interface.

Example

# Configure Eth-Trunk 1 to wait for 800 ms before changing its state to Down.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface Eth-Trunk 1
[*HUAWEI-Eth-Trunk1] link-state down-delay-time 800
