igmp-snooping signal-synch enable

Function

The igmp-snooping signal-synch enable command enables IGMP signaling synchronization based on BGP EVPN IGMP Join Synch routes in a BD.

The undo igmp-snooping signal-synch enable command disables IGMP signaling synchronization based on BGP EVPN IGMP Join Synch routes in a BD.

By default, IGMP signaling synchronization based on BGP EVPN IGMP Join Synch routes is disabled in all BDs.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After IGMP snooping runs in a BD in an EVPN scenario, PEs need to use EVPN IGMP Join Synch routes advertised by BGP to synchronize IGMP signaling. To enable IGMP signaling synchronization based on BGP EVPN IGMP Join Synch routes, run the igmp-snooping signal-synch enable command.

After this command is run in a BD, the existing Layer 2 multicast services and other existing EVPN services in the BD are not affected.

Prerequisites

The evpn binding vpn-instance command has been run in a BD.
