Function

The interface command binds an access interface for static users to an interface list.

The undo interface command unbinds an access interface for static users from an interface list.

By default, no access interface for static users is bound to an interface list.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }

undo interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To allow multiple IPv4 static users on the same network segment to go online through multiple specified interfaces, run the static-user interface-list command to configure an access interface list. Then, run the interface command to bind a specified interface to the configured interface list.

Prerequisites

The interface to be bound to an interface list has been configured as a BAS interface.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
