ip pool-group

Function

The ip pool-group command creates an address pool group and displays the address pool group view if the address pool group exists.

The undo ip pool-group command deletes an address pool group.

By default, no address pool group is created.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

ip pool-group group-name [ bas ]

undo ip pool-group group-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
group-name

Specifies the name of an address pool group. It can contain the following characters:

  • Letters A-Z, or a-z.
  • Digits 0-9.
  • .
  • - or _.

The value is a string of 1 to 128 case-insensitive characters.

bas

Indicates an IP address pool group for access users.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

An address pool group is a set of address pools sharing specified attributes. Configuring an address pool group avoids duplicate configurations. An address pool group can be created in either of the following situations:

  • Multiple domains share some address pools.
  • A RADIUS server is able to deliver address pool names.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Create a local address pool group named huawei.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] ip pool-group huawei bas
Info:It's successful to create an IP address pool group.
