dhcp option125

Function

The dhcp option125 command configures the enterprise code and string for DHCP Option 125.

The undo dhcp option125 command deletes the configuration.

By default, no enterprise code or string is configured for DHCP Option 125.

Format

dhcp option125 [ enterprise-code enterprise-code ] option125-string

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
enterprise-code enterprise-code	Specifies the enterprise code of DHCP Option 125.	The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 4294967295.
option125-string	Specifies the string of DHCP Option 125.	The value is a string of 1 to 32 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported, which can be uppercase letters A to Z, lowercase letters a to z, digits 0 to 9, periods (.), hyphens (-), or underscores (_)

Usage Scenario

To enable the DHCP server to send a reply message that contains an enterprise code (option125), run the dhcp option125 command to configure the contents to be encapsulated in DHCP Option 25.

Example

# Configure Option 125 with the enterprise code as 2011 and string as ZJCTCIPTVDHCPAAA for an address pool named huawei.
