Function

The warning-exhaust command enables the address exhaustion alarm function for an address pool.

The undo warning-exhaust command disables the address exhaustion alarm function from an address pool.

By default, the address exhaustion alarm function is disabled for an address pool.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable the system to generate an alarm when the IP address pool is exhausted, run the warning-exhaust command. Such an alarm reminds of the administrator of planning IP addresses. When IP addresses in the address pool are exhausted, users cannot go online.

When IP address usage of the address pool falls below 90%, the address exhaustion alarm is cleared.
