Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You can run the telnet server enable command to enable the Telnet service. A client can connect to a remote server by Telnet only after the Telnet service is enabled on the server.

After you disable the Telnet service on the server, all clients that have logged in through Telnet are disconnected.

Precautions

When you run the undo telnet ipv6 server enable command, the IPv6 Telnet server is disconnected. You are advised to confirm whether to perform the undo operation.

STelnet is recommended for a network that has high security requirements.
