ipv6 traffic-eng

Function

The ipv6 traffic-eng command enables IPv6 TE for one or more specified IS-IS levels of an IS-IS process.

The undo ipv6 traffic-eng command restores the default configuration.

By default, IPv6 TE is disabled for an IS-IS process.

Format

ipv6 traffic-eng [ level-1 | level-2 | level-1-2 ]

undo ipv6 traffic-eng [ level-1 | level-2 | level-1-2 ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To enable IPv6 TE for one or more specified IS-IS levels of an IS-IS process, run the ipv6 traffic-eng command. Before you enable IPv6 TE for an IS-IS process, you must run the cost-style command with wide, compatible, or wide-compatible configured in the IS-IS view.

Prerequisites

The IPv6 capability for an IS-IS process has been enabled using the ipv6 enable command.

# Enable IPv6 TE for Level-2 areas of IS-IS process 1.
