ipv6 temporary-address limit

Function

The ipv6 temporary-address limit command configures the maximum number of temporary IPv6 addresses for clients in a session group.

The undo ipv6 temporary-address limit command restores the default configuration.

By default, a maximum of two temporary IPv6 addresses can be configured for a client.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

ipv6 temporary-address limit integer-value

undo ipv6 temporary-address limit [ integer-value ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
integer-value

Specifies the maximum number of temporary IPv6 addresses for clients.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 15. The default value is 2.

Usage Scenario

After creating a session group template, run the ipv6 temporary-address limit command to configure the maximum number of temporary IPv6 addresses for clients in the session group template.

Prerequisites

A session group template has been created.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

# Delete the maximum number of temporary IPv6 addresses configured for clients in the session group template.
