Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If an automatically allocated link-local address has already been configured on an interface, the ipv6 address link-local configuration overrides the existing link-local address.

Example

# Configure a link-local address automatically generated for an interface.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface GigabitEthernet 0/1/1
[~HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1] ipv6 enable
[*HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1] ipv6 address auto link-local
