lsp-remaining-lifetime refresh timer (IS-IS view)

Function

The lsp-remaining-lifetime refresh timer command configures an IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value.

The undo lsp-remaining-lifetime refresh timer command restores the default IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value.

By default, the IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value is the maximum LSP age.

Format

lsp-remaining-lifetime refresh timer { refreshvalue | lsp-max-age }

undo lsp-remaining-lifetime refresh timer [ refreshvalue ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
refreshvalue

Specifies an IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value.

The value is an integer ranging from the maximum LSP age to 65535, in seconds.

lsp-max-age

Sets the IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value to the maximum LSP age.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If automatic IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime adjustment is enabled and the following conditions are met, the IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime is set to the configured value:

  • The local device receives an LSP generated by another device, and the LSP is newer than the corresponding LSP stored locally.
  • The Remaining Lifetime of the LSP is non-zero and less than the configured value.

# Set the IS-IS LSP Remaining Lifetime value to 60000.
