statistic enable mode

Function

The statistic enable mode command enables statistics collection on an Layer 2 sub-interface.

The undo statistic enable mode command disables statistics collection from an Layer 2 sub-interface.

By default, the traffic statistics collection function is disabled on a sub-interface.

Format

statistic enable mode { single | multiple }

undo statistic enable

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
single

Indicates the single mode, in which statistics are collected based on a specific Layer 2 sub-interface.

multiple

Indicates the multiple mode in which statistics are collected based on sub-interface+VLAN tag. Either a single VLAN tag or both an inner VLAN tag and an outer VLAN tag can be specified.

Usage Scenario

To collect the number of packets that an Layer 2 sub-interface forwards, run the statistic enable mode command.
