Function

The l2tp-tunnel source command configures a source L2TP tunnel interface in the RBS view so that the source interface route bound to the RBS is updated based on the link status on the network side.

The undo l2tp-tunnel source command enables the source interface route bound to the RBS to be updated based on the L2TP hot backup mechanism.

By default, the source interface route bound to the RBS is updated based on the L2TP hot backup mechanism.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In L2TP hot backup scenarios, when an L2TP traffic protection tunnel is used to bypass traffic, traffic volume increases. As a result, network congestion occurs. To resolve this issue, run the l2tp-tunnel source command.

Configuration Impact

After the l2tp-tunnel source command is run, the source interface route bound to the RBS is updated based on the link status on the network side.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
