l2tpv3 instance

Function

The l2tpv3 instance command configures an L2TPv3 instance on an interface.

The undo l2tpv3 instance command deletes an L2TPv3 instance from an interface.

By default, no L2TPv3 instance is configured on an interface.

Format

l2tpv3 instance instance-name

undo l2tpv3 instance [ instance-name ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
instance-name

Specifies the name of an L2TPv3 instance.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters beginning with a letter, spaces or question marks (?) not supported.

Usage Scenario

To bind services or interfaces to an L2TPv3 tunnel, run the l2tpv3 instance command to configure an L2TPv3 instance first.

Prerequisites

L2TPv3 has been enabled using the l2tpv3 enable command.

# Create an L2TPv3 instance named a123.
