l2tpv3 local session-id

Function

The l2tpv3 local session-id command configures the local session ID.

The undo l2tpv3 local session-id command deletes the local session ID.

By default, the local session ID is 0xffffffff.

Format

l2tpv3 local session-id local-session-id

undo l2tpv3 local session-id [ local-session-id ]

Parameters

Specifies the local session ID.

The value is a hexadecimal integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295.

Usage Scenario

Session IDs are used for interoperation between the local and remote devices of an L2TPv3 tunnel.

Prerequisites

L2TPv3 has been enabled using the l2tpv3 enable command.An L2TPv3 tunnel has been configured using the l2tpv3 pw command.

# Configure the local session ID as 8 for an L2TPv3 tunnel.
