The laser auto-shutdown-interval command configures intervals at which the optical module laser is disabled or enabled and the system checks for link failures.
The undo laser auto-shutdown-interval command restores the default configurations.
By default, the interval at which the optical module laser is enabled and the system checks for link failures is 2s, and the interval at which the optical module laser is disabled and the system checks for link failures is 60s.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
open open-value |
Specifies the interval at which the optical module laser is enabled and the system checks for link failures. |
The value is an integer ranging from 100 to 300, in 10 ms. The default value is 200. |
close close-value |
Specifies the interval at which the optical module laser is disabled and the system checks for link failures. |
The value is an integer ranging from 200 to 30000, in 10 ms. The default value is 6000. |
Usage Scenario
After the optical module is configured to disable the laser automatically and a link failure occurs, the optical module laser disables itself, and the system checks whether the link failure is cleared at two intervals (closetime-interval and opentime-interval). If you need to adjust the two intervals, run the laser auto-shutdown-interval command.
closetime-interval and opentime-interval are described as follows:Prerequisites
The optical module has been configured to disable the laser automatically using the laser autoshutdown enable command.
