The mep mep-id lck enable command enables the ETH-LCK function.
The undo mep mep-id lck enable command disables the ETH-LCK function.
By default, the ETH-LCK function is disabled.
Usage Scenario
In an MD nesting scenario, if the ETH-LCK function is configured on a MEP in a lower priority MD (inner layer), the MEP sends ETH-LCK packets to MEPs in another MD at the outer layer. After MEPs in an MD with a matching level receive the ETH-LCK packets, they generate LCK alarms. After the MEPs do not receive ETH-LCK packets within a period of time 3.5 times as long as the interval at which ETH-LCK packets are sent, the MEPs generate clear alarms. The ETH-LCK function can be used with the ETH-test function so that the outer MD can be notified of the administrative locked state of the inner MD.
Prerequisites
Precautions
The specified level must be higher than that of the MD to which the MEP belongs.
