Function

The lease command sets the lease period of an IP address pool. If the lease period is 0, it indicates that it is unlimited(the actual value in the interaction paket is 4294967295).

The undo lease command restores the default setting.

By default, an IP address pool can be leased for 3 days.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

lease days [ hours [ minutes ] ]

days	Specifies the number of days.	The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 999. The default value is 3.
hours	Specifies the number of hours.	The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 23. The default value is 0.
minutes	Specifies the number of minutes.	The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 59. The default value is 0.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Use this command to configure leases of IP addresses in the address pool so that different client can get IP addresses with different leases.

This command is inapplicable for remote servers.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
