lns-group

Function

The lns-group command creates an LNS group and displays its view.

The undo lns-group command deletes the LNS group.

By default, no LNS group is created.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

lns-group group-name

undo lns-group group-name

It is a string of 1 to 30 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Each LNS group uses the IP address of the bound interface as the source address to communicate with the LAC. The device can determine the LNS group that processes the tunnel connection request from an LAC.

On the device, you can configure multiple tunnel boards and specify a tunnel board for an LNS. Multiple tunnel boards can be bound to an LNS group. These tunnel boards bear the load in turn based on tunnels.

Precautions

Running the undo lns-group command fails if the LNS group has tunnels.
