Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If there are multiple egresses to the destination, if the load-balancing ucmp command is run when BGP routes are available for load balancing, the device can implement unequal-cost load balancing among BGP routes based on the Link Bandwidth attribute carried in the routes.

Precautions

After the command is run, unequal-cost load balancing is implemented based on the Link Bandwidth attribute only when all routes for load balancing carry the Link Bandwidth attribute and all recurse to IP routes or tunnels.

If the value of Link Bandwidth in a route is less than 1 Mbit/s, the value is 0 after it is delivered to the RM module.

Example

# Enable BGP UCMP.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] bgp 100
[*HUAWEI-bgp] ipv6-family unicast
