user-aging (Local AAA server view)

Function

The user-aging command sets the aging period of a local user account.

The undo user-aging command restores the default setting.

By default, a local user account does not age.

Format

user-aging aging-period

undo user-aging

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 365, in days.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To authorize the local administrator within a specified aging period, you can run the user-aging command. After the local administrator is created, the local administrator can log in to the

device and have specified rights till the aging period expires.

Configuration Impact

After the configured aging period elapses, users using the local user account fail to log in.

Precautions

The user-password change command that is configured in the AAA view or local AAA server view takes effect only for users in the specific view and does not affect another in the other view.
