location (Service location view)

Function

The location command binds the CPU of a service board in the service-location backup view.

The undo location command cancels the configuration.

By default, the CPU of a service board is not bound in the service-location backup view.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

location slot slot-id

undo location slot slot-id

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
slot slot-id

Specifies the slot ID of a service board.

The value is a string of 1 to 15 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To import NAT traffic to service boards for NAT implementation, run the location command. The command location is used only for service direction.

Example

# Bind the CPU of a service board in the service-location backup view and configure the CPU on subcard 1 in slot 1.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] service-location 1
[~HUAWEI-service-location-1] location slot 1
