lock(Bas IP address pool view)

Function

The lock command locks an IP address pool. In this case, the IP address pool is disabled and you cannot assign any of the IP addresses in it to users.

The undo lock command unlocks the IP address pool.

By default, no address pool is locked.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the IP address pool contains any IP address that is occupied, you cannot remove the IP address pool. Therefore, if you want to remove it, you can lock it first. When all the current users log out and release the IP addresses. You can remove the IP address pool.

Precautions

  • This command is supported only on the admin VS.
  • Users whose IP addresses are delivered by the RADIUS server from a locked address pool are not allowed to go online. If the users have gone online, they can renew the lease in this scenario.
