lsp-tetunnel (LSP jitter test instance)

Function

The lsp-tetunnel command specifies a TE tunnel used in an NQA LSP Jitter test instance.

The undo lsp-tetunnel command deletes the configured TE tunnel.

By default, no TE tunnel is configured.

Format

lsp-tetunnel { tunnelName | ifType ifNum }

lsp-tetunnel { tunnelName | ifType ifNum } { hot-standby | primary }

undo lsp-tetunnel

undo lsp-tetunnel { tunnelName | ifType ifNum } [ hot-standby | primary ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

An LSP ping test instance monitors the connectivity of a TE tunnel, and an LSP trace test instance detects faulty nodes on a TE tunnel.

Prerequisites

Only the interface number of a TE tunnel can be specified in an LSP test instance.

Before using the lsp-tetunnel command to configure the TE tunnel in an NQA LSP test instance, run the lsp-type te command to specify the NQA LSP test type to TE.

Configuration Impact

The specified interface number must be valid; otherwise, the test instance fails.

Precautions

If parameters need to be changed during the running of the test instance, the system prompts you whether to terminate the test instance. Press "Y" or "N" as required.

  • If you press "Y", the test instance is terminated and parameters changed. The settings take effect after being committed. To restart the test instance, run the start command.
  • If you press "N", the test instance keeps running, and the parameters fail to be modified.

    The command can be run to specify an interface number for a TE tunnel only when the LSP type is TE or SR-MPLS TE.

Example

# Specify a TE tunnel in the test instance named user test.
