policy (LSP ping test instance)

Function

The policy command configures an NQA LSP ping test instance.

The undo policy command deletes an NQA LSP ping test instance.

By default, no NQA LSP test instance is configured.

Format

policy { policy-name policyname | endpoint-ip endpointip color colorid | binding-sid bsid }

undo policy

undo policy { policy-name policyname | endpoint-ip endpointip color colorid | binding-sid bsid }

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
policy-name policyname	Specifies the name of an SR-MPLS TE policy.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. It cannot contain spaces.
endpoint-ip endpointip	Specifies the endpoint IP address of an SR-MPLS TE policy.	The value is in dotted decimal notation.
color colorid	Specifies the color ID of an SR-MPLS TE policy.	The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 4294967295.
binding-sid bsid	Specifies the ID of a segment bound to an SR-MPLS TE policy.	The value is an integer ranging from 16 to 1048575.

Usage Scenario

An LSP ping test instance monitors the connectivity of an SR-MPLS TE policy tunnel. You can perform the following operation as required:

To configure the name of an SR-MPLS TE policy for an NQA LSP test instance, run the policy policy-name command.
To configure the ID of a segment bound to an SR-MPLS TE policy for an NQA LSP test instance, run the policy binding-sid command.
To configure an endpoint IP address and color ID for an NQA LSP test instance, run the policy endpoint-ip color command.

Prerequisites

The lsp-type srte-policy command has been run.
