Function

The packet-priority command sets an 802.1p priority for Y.1731 and 802.1ag packets in an MA.

The undo packet-priority command restores the default 802.1p priority.

By default, the 802.1p priority is 7 for Y.1731 and 802.1ag packets in an MA.

Parameter Description Value
priority

Sets an 802.1p priority for Y.1731 and 802.1ag packets.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 7. A larger value indicates a higher priority. The default value is 7.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Packets with different 802.1p priorities are transmitted with different priorities. To change the priority of transmitting Y.1731 and 802.1ag packets, run the packet-priority command to set an 802.1p priority for the Y.1731 and 802.1ag packets.

Prerequisites

An MD and an MA have been configured using the cfm md and ma commands, respectively.
