map ipv4-tos

Function

The map ipv4-tos command sets a ToS value for IPv4 packets.

The undo map ipv4-tos command deletes a ToS value for IPv4 packets.

By default, a device copies the Traffic-class field value in IPv6 packets and pastes it to the ToS field value in IPv4 packets.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

map ipv4-tos tos-value

undo map ipv4-tos [ tos-value ]

Parameters

tos-value

Specifies the ToS value of IPv4 packets in the inbound direction of a MAP-T instance.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 255.

Usage Guidelines

To set a ToS value in IPv4 packets, run the map ipv4-tos command. To delete the setting, run the undo map ipv4-tos command.

NOTE:

The ToS value in IPv4 packets is the ToS field value carried in the packet header. By default, a device copies the Traffic-class field value in IPv6 packets and pastes it to the ToS field value in IPv4 packets.

Example

# Create a MAP-T instance named test in the system view, access the MAP-T instance view, and set a ToS value to 100 for IPv4 packets.
