map traffic-class

Function

The map traffic-class command sets the Traffic-class field value in public network-to-private network IPv6 packets.

The undo map traffic-class command deletes the setting.

By default, the device copies the IPv4 ToS value and pastes it to the Traffic-class field in IPv6 header.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

To set the Traffic-class field value in public network-to-private network IPv6 packets, run the map traffic-class command. When a device performs MAP encapsulation for packets, the device by default copies the IPv4 ToS value and pastes it to the Traffic-class field in IPv6 header.

Example

# Create a MAP-T instance named test in the system view, access the MAP-T instance view, and set a Traffic-class value to 100 for IPv6 packets.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] map-t instance test id 111
[*HUAWEI-mapt-instance-test] map traffic-class 100
