Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The if-match rd-filter command and the ip rd-filter command work together to filter routes based on RD attributes. For example:

  • If the if-match rd-filter 1 command is configured, but the rd-filter 1 command is not configured, all routes will be permitted.
  • If the if-match rd-filter 1 and ip rd-filter 1 permit 1:1 commands are configured, routes with RD 1:1 will be permitted.

Prerequisites

A route-policy has been configured using the route-policy command.

Configuration Impact

Routes are filtered based on RD attributes. The routes with the specified RD attributes are permitted and those without the specified RD attributes are denied.

Example

# Define a filtering rule to match an RD filter.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] ip rd-filter 1 permit 100:1
[*HUAWEI] route-policy abc permit node 10
[*HUAWEI-route-policy] if-match rd-filter 1
