mep ccm-send enable

Function

The mep ccm-send enable command enables a MEP in an MA to send CCMs.

The undo mep ccm-send enable command disables a MEP in an MA from sending CCMs.

By default, a MEP is disabled from sending CCMs.

Format

mep ccm-send [ mep-id mep-id ] enable

undo mep ccm-send [ mep-id mep-id ] enable

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
mep-id mep-id

Specifies the ID of a MEP. If this parameter is not specified, all MEPs in an MA are enabled to send CCMs or disabled from sending CCMs.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 8191

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

You can run the mep ccm-send enable command to enable the MEP to send CCMs after a MEP is configured using the mep mep-id command.

Prerequisites

An MD, MA, and MEP have been configured using the cfm md, ma, and mep mep-id commands, respectively.
