The mld ssm-mapping enable command enables Source-Specific Multicast (SSM) mapping on an interface.
The undo mld ssm-mapping enable command disables SSM mapping on an interface.
By default, SSM mapping is not enabled on an interface.

Usage Scenario
If a multicast Router runs Multicast Listener Discovery version 2 (MLDv2) but its connected user hosts have to run MLDv1, configure Source-Specific Multicast (SSM) mapping on the Router, so the multicast Router also provides the SSM service for the hosts that run MLDv1.
Enable the SSM mapping function on an interface before you configure MLD SSM mapping. If SSM mapping is not enabled, SSM source/group address mapping entries cannot take effect on the interface.Prerequisites
Multicast routing has been enabled using the multicast ipv6 routing-enable command.
