mpls l2vpn no-request-message peer

Function

The mpls l2vpn no-request-message peer command disables the function to send Label Request packets to remote peers.

The undo mpls l2vpn no-request-message peer command restores the function to send Label Request packets to remote peers.

By default, a device can send Label Request packets to all remote peers.

undo mpls l2vpn no-request-message peer ip-address

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In a scenario in which a Huawei device needs to interwork with non-Huawei devices that do not support Label Request packets, run the mpls l2vpn no-request-message command to disable the Huawei device from sending Label Request packets during PW negotiation.

Configuration Impact

After the mpls l2vpn no-request-message command is configured, the Huawei device will directly exchange Label Mapping packets with non-Huawei devices for PW negotiation.
