Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By default, a PE performs the MTU match check for an MPLS L2VPN instance. If the MTUs of the same L2VPN instance on the two endpoint PEs do not match, the VC cannot go Up. In a BGP VPWS scenario, if a Huawei device interworks with a non-Huawei device that does not support the MTU match check, run the ignore-mtu-match command to configure the Huawei device not to perform the MTU match check.

Prerequisites

No VPN targets have been configured for the MPLS L2VPN instance.
