load-balance mpls unequal-cost enable

Function

The load-balance mpls unequal-cost enable command enables unequal cost multipath (UCMP) for MPLS P nodes (excluding BGP P nodes).UCMP can be enabled on the ingress for SR-MPLS TE Policy.

The undo load-balance mpls unequal-cost enable command disables UCMP for MPLS P nodes (excluding BGP P nodes).UCMP can be disabled on the ingress for SR-MPLS TE Policy.

By default, unequal-cost load balancing (UCMP) is disabled on MPLS P nodes (except BGP P nodes) and the ingress of an SR-MPLS TE Policy.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If UCMP s enabled and the MPLS P nodes (excluding BGP P nodes) have multiple outbound interfaces, UCMP is performed among the outbound interfaces based on bandwidth weights. If UCMP is disabled and the MPLS P nodes (excluding BGP P nodes) have multiple outbound interfaces, equal-cost multipath (ECMP) is performed among the outbound interfaces. To enable UCMP for MPLS P nodes (excluding BGP P nodes), run the load-balance mpls unequal-cost enable command. For SR-MPLS TE Policy, UCMP can be controlled on the ingress.

Precautions

In CBTS/TE group scenarios, if some tunnels are not configured with a weight, flows with different priorities are forwarded on the associated tunnel through equal-cost routes.

If the CBTS/TE group is configured and this command is run simultaneously, the CBTS/TE group takes effect preferentially, and UCMP does not take effect.

Example

# Enable UCMP for MPLS P nodes ( excluding BGP P nodes).
