The mtp assistant disable command disables the Maintain-Probe (MTP) function for maintenance assistants.

The undo mtp assistant disable command enables the MTP function for maintenance assistants.

By default, the MTP function is enabled for maintenance assistants.

The MTP function of maintenance assistants is used to monitor connectivity of various protocols. When a protocol connectivity is interrupted, the maintenance assistant script is run to collect onsite information for maintainability improvement.

To disable the MTP function for maintenance assistants, run the mtp assistant disable command.
