multicast-profile (AAA view)

Function

The multicast-profile command creates multicast profiles and displays the multicast profile view.

The undo multicast-profile command deletes the created multicast profile.

By default, no multicast profile is created.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

multicast-profile [ ipv6 ] profile-name

undo multicast-profile [ ipv6 ] profile-name

Specifies the IPv6 multicast profile.

Specifies the name of the multicast profile.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The multicast-profile creates an IPv4 multicast profiles and displays the IPv4 multicast profile view.

The multicast-profile ipv6 creates an IPv6 multicast profile and displays the IPv6 multicast profile view.

After a multicast profile is bound to a domain, the users in this domain have the rights to access the multicast lists bound to the multicast profile and can join the multicast groups corresponding to the multicast list.

Precautions

If the multicast profile already exists, you can directly enter the multicast profile view.

If the multicast profile already bounds to a domain, you cannot delete the IPv6 multicast profile.

This command is supported only on the admin VS.
