The multicast virtual-scheduling-vpn command binds a multicast user VPN to the AAA domain of a unicast user VPNs.
Using the undo multicast virtual-scheduling-vpn command, you can unbind a multicast user from an AAA domain.
By default, no VPN is bound to a multicast user.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
vpn-name |
Specifies the name of a VPN instance. |
The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string. |
By default, multicast virtual scheduling does not enable the device to schedule multicast and unicast traffic on different VPNs. To schedule the unicast and multicast traffic that are not on the same VPN, run the multicast virtual-scheduling-vpn command. This command binds a multicast user VPN to the AAA domain to which a unicast user VPN has been bound, thus implementing inter-VPN multicast virtual scheduling.
