The nas logic-sysname command configures the logical host name.
The undo nas logic-sysname command deletes the logical host name.
By default, no logical host name is configured.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
The nas logic-port and nas logic-sysname commands are applied to the remote backup of user information. Through these commands, the NAS-Port, NAS-Port-ID, and Option82 information in the packets that the primary and secondary devices send to the RADIUS and DHCP servers are identical.
Configure the same logical host name and logical interface on the BAS interfaces that back up each other. The NAS-Port, NAS-Port-ID, and Option 82 information in the packets that the primary and secondary devices send to the RADIUS and DHCP servers are identical.Prerequisites
Before configuring the logical host name for a BAS interface, you must set the access type of the BAS interface to layer2-subscriber or layer3-subscriber.
Configuration Impact
After the logical host name and logical port are configured for the BAS interface, note the following:
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
When the nas logic-sysname command is used in both the profile view and the BAS interface view, the one configured in the profile view takes effect. If the nas logic-sysname command is used on a trunk interface, the configuration takes effect on the trunk interface and its sub-interfaces. If the nas logic-sysname command is used in the profile, Eth-Trunk interface, and BAS interface views, the configuration in the profile view takes effect. If the nas logic-sysname command is used in the Eth-Trunk interface and BAS interface views, the configuration in the BAS interface view takes effect. If the nas logic-sysname command is used in the Eth-Trunk interface view, the interface type can only be Eth-Trunk. If the nas logic-sysname command is not used in the profile, Eth-Trunk interface, and BAS interface views, the configuration in the AAA view takes effect. In the AAA view, the logical host name is only used to check packet validity when the device sends the NAS-Identifier attribute of the RADIUS server or the RADIUS server delivers COA or DM packets and cannot be used to generate the user Accounting-session-ID, Accounting-Multi-session-ID, local Option82 information, default PPP and DHCP user names, NAS-Port-ID and Calling-Station-ID attributes sent to the RADIUS server.<HUAWEI> system-view [~HUAWEI] interface GigabitEthernet0/1/1 [~HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1] bas [~HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1-bas] access-type layer2-subscriber [*HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1-bas] commit [~HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/1/1-bas] nas logic-sysname word
