nat alarm server-map disable

Function

The nat alarm server-map disable command disables the log and alarm functions for the server-map table.

The undo nat alarm server-map disable command restores the default configuration.

By default, the log and alarm functions are enabled for the server-map table.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

nat alarm server-map { log | trap } disable

undo nat alarm server-map { log | trap } disable

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
log

Indicates the log function. This parameter indicates whether a device generates a log message after the number of server-map entries exceeds a specified log threshold. or after the number of server-map entries falls below 80% of a specified log threshold.

trap

Indicates the alarm function. This parameter indicates whether a device generates an alarm message after the number of server-map entries exceeds a specified alarm threshold, or after the number of server-map entries falls below 80% of a specified alarm threshold.

Usage Scenario

The log and alarm functions are enabled by default. To disable the functions, run the nat alarm server-map disable command.

Precautions

The nat alarm server-map disable command is used together with the nat alarm server-map threshold command. The nat alarm server-map threshold command sets the log and alarm thresholds for the number of server-map entries.

If the nat alarm server-map threshold command is not run, the default log and alarm thresholds are 80% of the total number of server-map entries.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
