nat server-mode enable

Function

The nat server-mode enable command enables the address-based NAT server mode.

The undo nat server-mode enable command restores the default configuration.

By default, the address-based NAT server mode is disabled.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To ensure that public IP addresses and ports do not need to be allocated from an address pool, run the nat server-mode enable command to enable the address-based NAT server mode.

Configuration Impact

In address-based NAT server scenarios, public IP addresses do not need to be allocated from an address pool.
