Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By default, the OSPF micro-isolation CAR function is enabled to implement interface- and destination IP address-based micro-isolation protection for OSPF packets to protect session establishment. You can run the micro-isolation protocol-car ospf disable command to disable this function. In this case, interface- and destination IP address-based micro-isolation protection is not performed on OSPF packets. When OSPF packets flood, a large number of packets from non-OSPF neighbors may preempt the bandwidth between interfaces. When an attack occurs, a large number of invalid packets sent to other IP addresses may preempt the bandwidth. Therefore, you are advised not to disable this function.
