mpls te p2mp-te frr-mbb

Function

The mpls te p2mp-te frr-mbb command triggers an MBB mechanism after FRR is enabled on a P2MP tunnel.

The undo mpls te p2mp-te frr-mbb command restores the default configuration.

By default, the leaf MBB mode is configured for P2MP tunnels.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In P2MP tunnel scenarios, if different devices exist on a link and an FRR backup path fails, the devices implement different MBB modes, causing the traffic to be abnormally forwarded and resulting in service interruptions. To minimize packet loss, run the mpls te p2mp-te frr-mbb both command to configure both the tree and leaf MBB modes or the mpls te p2mp-te frr-mbb lsp command to configure the tree MBB mode.
