Function

The fast-reroute command enables TE FRR.

The undo fast-reroute command disables TE FRR.

By default, TE FRR is disabled.

Usage Scenario

TE FRR is recommended for primary MPLS TE tunnels, which improves network reliability. To enable FRR, run the fast-reroute command in the P2P TE tunnel template view.

Prerequisites

A P2P TE tunnel template has been configured using the mpls te p2p-template command.
