Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
setup-priority	Specifies the setup priority of a tunnel.	The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 7. The smaller the value, the higher the priority.
hold-priority	Specifies the holding priority of a tunnel.	The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 7. A holding priority value must be greater than or equal to a setup priority value. The smaller the value, the higher the priority. The default value is the same as the set setup priority value.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The setup priority of a tunnel must be no higher than its holding priority. A setup priority value must be greater than or equal to a holding priority value.

If resources are insufficient, setting the setup and holding priority values allows LSPs with lower priorities to release resources for establishing LSPs with higher priorities.

Prerequisites

A P2P TE tunnel template has been configured using the mpls te p2p-template command.
