password(Prepaid profile view)

Function

The password command configures the password used for the quotas application sent to the server by the prepaid services.

The undo password command deletes the password.

By default, no password used for the quotas application sent to the server by the prepaid services is configured.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

When the authentication mode for the application sent by the prepaid service is RADIUS, you need to configure the password to access the RADIUS server.

Configuration Impact

After a password is configured for a prepaid profile, a device uses this password to apply for a prepaid service quota from the RADIUS server.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
